Stopping coups is not complicated and lots of ordinary people doing a little makes a big difference. We need to show that the coup is unpopular and that the Big Lie behind it is baseless.
Call your members of Congress and ask for the following:
- Immediately impeach Donald Trump and remove him from office.
- Publicly affirm that Joe Biden won the 2020 election fair and square.
- Support Cori Bush’s bill calling for accountability for members of Congress who supported the attempted coup.
Call both Senators and the representative for your district. You can find their phone numbers at contactingcongress.org. Because calling takes a little more effort than email, calls are taken more seriously.
Also, sign this petition supporting Cori Bush’s bill, which calls for investigating members of Congress who supported the coup attempt. If you click “Edit Subscription Preferences“ and uncheck the checkbox, you won’t get a lot of email.
